  2. Get cooking oil

Yes, I can make stewed fish without frying the fish first, but I highly recommend doing it this way. Not only does it add flavor but it prevents the delicate flesh of the fish from falling apart as easily as it.   1. Clean and cut all the ingredients ie onion tomato, dhania and green chilli into separate bowls.
  2. Place your sufuria on fire then add cooking oil. Then add onions and fry till brown in colour. Then add tomatoes and cook for three minutes. Then add your dhania and cover.
  3. After cooking for a short while add some water for stew. Then add the green chilli and salt to taste.
  4. Add your deep fried fish into the stew and cook for ten minutes. Add salt to taste. Then it is ready to serve with either rice or ugali.
